We are happy to provide expertise and technical advice free of charge throughout the whole creation process, as part of our personal service. With stonemasonry having been in our family for over five generations, you can be assured of the highest level of guidance and quality.

Choosing your design – ‘Tailored just for you’

Made to Measure: All the fireplaces featured in the website are made to measure and so the sizes shown are to be used as a general guide only. All designs can be made wider or taller to suit your space. Unless greatly enlarged, size alterations rarely make a difference to the price. The designs can also be mixed and matched, by changing the shelf style for example.

Bespoke: We also encourage our customers to commission their own ideas. Neil Gray, the proprietor, takes great pleasure in working with you to turn your ideas into reality; creating your very own fireplaces that’s not only unique and individual to you but fits in perfectly with the style of home. He then carves your fireplace personally. So, if the designs in the brochure are not what you’re looking for than please contact us with your ideas. We have created many bespoke fireplaces. Anything can be carved in stone and we love a new challenge. Sketches, photographs, or even a picture in your minds eye can be made into your dream fireplaces.

Costing and Site Surveys

Site visits can be arranged to offer advice and take the measurements required for the final quotation. Prices include the hearths and back panels. There are no additional costs, other than the optional installation and delivery service, as explained below.

Installation

A full installation service is available. Costs start from £300, depending on the style of fireplace and location of the site. Alternatively, a competent builder with a fixing kit and brackets and lime mortar can also install your fireplace.

Delivery

To ensure your handcrafted fireplace arrives safely and in the same quality if left the workshops, we prefer to deliver ourselves. If we are installing your product then no delivery charge will apply. Local deliveries are also free. A delivery charge will apply to nationwide deliveries. Costs start from £50 and are dependent on location.
